Stereo 3D will continue to make major strides with more post tools available for stereo 3D projects. Quantel has said its 3D-capable systems outsell the 2D-only units. Avid Media Composer already has built-in stereo 3D features for several of its versions. Other stereo 3D products include CineForm’s Neo3D, The Foundry’s Ocula and Dashwood Cinema Solutions’ Stereo3D Toolbox for editing and compositing. AJA and Blackmagic Design have also updated the firmware of some of their Kona and DeckLink cards so they are stereo 3D compatible. […]
